The cave is situated on the lakeside road shortly after the hospital and before Panagia Mavriotissa, in the northern part of the city. Its entrance is about 20 meters away from the shores of the lake. The surrounding outdoors is shaped in line with the traditional architectural style (by using local materials, e.g. stone and wood), maintaining the characteristics of the rare natural beauty of the region.
